So what is my bottom line opinion of the Match Mate Rookie Tennis Ball Machine? If I had my druthers, I would strep up to the plate a bit and purchase a machine like a Lobster Elite 2 that would last me longer as I improved in my tennis game. If you are strictly looking at a tennis practice machine for your young kids that would get intimidated by a bigger machine, then this is a viable option for you. I just tend to feel that as a serious tennis player or as someone who wants to get a little more serious in their tennis game, that a machine that can do more is more worth the expenditure. A top speed of 25 mph to me limits you too much. Now in terms of a machine for youngsters only, it works just fine. The Match Mate Rookie tennis machines other advantage for the leisurely beginner type players is that it is light and easy to transport. That is something to take into consideration if you intend to move it around with you a lot. Take a look at the video here to see how it works. Although I wouldn’t put the Match Mate Rookie Tennis Ball Machine on the top of my Christmas list, the Match Mate Rookie Tennis Ball machine is something that should be considered if you meet any of the qualifications that I talked about above.
