If you are reading this Superfeet insoles review, then you must be having a problem with your feet while out on the courts. Orthotic insoles or arch supports as some people call them are very popular nowadays. Whether you walk into a drugstore or a supermarket today, you can’t walk out with out seeing some type of display featuring the latest and greatest shoe insoles from Dr Footsy promising to fix your posture and align your body and make you feel 20 years younger. Although there may be a pinch of truth to all of these advertisements, lets face it they do tend to exaggerate a bit on their promises. No way you can feel 20 years younger, perhaps 10 but not 20.

So you ask Herr doctor, what makes the Superfeet Insoles different from Dr Footsy and all of his comrades. Why would I go out on the limb and say to you that Superfeet Insoles are some of the finest orthotics on the planet? I have good reason mon ami (that’s french for my friend). Superfeet Insoles have been around since the mid 1970′s designing and making arch support inserts. The founders wanted to bring to the market a quality product that was affordable to the mass public in order to help them with their feet problems. It’s not uncommon for podiatrists to charge you hundreds of dollars for a set of custom orthotic arch supports that are probably not any better designed than these Superfeet insoles. Statistics show that only about 10-15% of the population has whats known as a neutral feet, or feet that do no pronate or supponate, which means feet that twist inwards or outwards for lack of a better term.
That leaves the other 85% of us, myself included with some feet problems. Superfeet’s philosophy was to make their insoles in the same fashion that a good mattress was made in. Not too soft, yet cushioned and firm enough to give your feet a good support mechanism. When your feet are supported in the proper manner, you body will be more properly aligned and balanced and you will have less problems especially with your back and feet.
Does everybody need these Superfeet insoles? Absolutely not. If you are a couch potato and are not on your feet at all forget about getting yourself a pair. But if you’re an active person such as myself and are on the courts a lot, these can be very beneficial. There are other brands that may also help you including the “Doctor Footsy” type supermarket variety but It’s my own personal belief that they are not as good.
From my experience, after having tried many brands including Powerstep, Spenco & Sof Sole, the Superfeet Insoles have worked out the best for me. Perhaps the Dr Footsy’s will work for you but whatever you do, do something if you are having foot pain while on the courts. Whether it’s the Superfeet Insoles or one of the other brands, there is no need to suffer when there is a possible solution at hand, or is that at foot?
